Annyeonghaseyo, I have my 2nd SLJ task here! This task was about the poetry slam. This is all of my planning so far but i’ll get up to writing some of my poems soon & also while the poetry slam competition is running. I had to really think deep into my mind to get my ideas but I eventually got they’re in the end!

Konnichiwa everyone! Today I finished the first summer learning journey task! This activity is about a treasure hunt. So our objective was to collect certain objects & finish the hunt! We also had to take a photo of the items & make it into a poster labelling what item is what.

hey everyone, how are you guys? Today, Phil came to our class & told us about the SLJ (aka Summer Learning Journey!). In the Summer Learning Journey there is the A.B.C. A stands for access like if you have access to the internet at home or at your caregivers place. B stands for blogging like knowing how to use your blog & creating blog posts about your tasks. Last of all C stands for Cybersmart your probably thinking why cybersmart? Well it’s because we have to be smart online someone could just steal your identity.

Hey everyone, I would rather have a robot because It could be like my friend! I can also code in Java script so I could maybe code the robot as well as giving it commands. I would want to have a jet-pack but I think I can do more things with a robot than a jet-pack. If I did have a jet-pack I’d do cool videos like pretending to fly & if there was a jumping competition i’d hide my jet-pack & use it!
Imagine that!
If you had a jet-pack would you use it to your advantage in competitions or would you use it for fun?
Hey everyone, we have another one & only Ivan ponder ! Let’s answer it ッ
I think a good zoo would have heaps of cages for the animals but also, like a free space for the animals to roam around so they have a little bit of freedom. I know I wouldn’t wanna just stay in a cage the whole rest of my life. I also think that the animals should be in the right habitat like if they are a mole their habitat should have dirt so they can dig through & climb through the holes as well.
I don’t know if Stella, Ivan & Ruby should live in a zoo. I would let them choose to be honest.
What do you think about this ponder ?
Kia Orana everyone, these past 2 weeks my class has been learning about how to use onomatopoeia/sound words!! We’ve also been learning to use dialogue in our stories so we can include our onomatopoeia too! I found using onomatopoeia a little bit difficult before we learnt more about it bc I didn’t really have any dialogue in my story for the onomatopoeia to go with. But now I know I can always add dialogue just add it at the right time 🙂

Kia Ora Everyone Today my class was learning and talking about descriptive sentences, nouns, pro-nouns.
Here is my favourite sentence!!
Laying colourful tulips down on the grave, Alex was sobbing and dropped on his knees. “Mackenzie why did you have to save your life for mine (then Alex starts crying 😭 again)”
Learning about descriptive sentence’s, noun’s, and pro-noun’s were was very fun I love writing sentences and it also feels good when your sentence is read out and everyone likes it.
